Scent has an uncommon pathway to memory and emotion, which is why “the keeper of moments” is more than a metaphor. Momentier blends moment with the French artisan suffix -ier—a nod to craft, like parfumier—for a name that says exactly what fragrance does: it holds on.
We are fragrance people.
Not in the casual sense. The kind who track dry-down across three hours. Who notice when a base note shifts in the cold. Who have spent years understanding not just what a fragrance smells like — but why it smells the way it does, and what separates a formulation that lasts from one that fades by noon.
Momentier was built from that obsession. And from one question we kept coming back to: why does serious fragrance have to cost so much?
The problem we couldn't ignore
The fragrance market in India is full of options. It is not full of honest ones.
At one end: designer names at prices that don't make sense for what's inside. At the other: cheap oils in cheap bottles, dressed up with borrowed credibility.
In the middle: a quiet compromise that has become standard practice. Find an oil. Approve it quickly. Put it in a bottle. Tell a good story.
We couldn't do it that way.
Why concentration is not a detail
Once the right oil is found, we don't dilute it down to make it cheaper to produce.
Momentier fragrances are Extrait de Parfum — 25%+ fragrance oil concentration. That's a formulation decision, not a marketing badge. It means the fragrance opens with presence, evolves through the day, and stays on skin long after most fragrances have gone quiet.
In Indian heat — where an EDP at 15% oil fades by early afternoon — this is not a small difference. It is the difference between a fragrance that works and one that doesn't.
How every Momentier fragrance is built
For every fragrance in this collection, we go back to the beginning.
We source oils from over ten different manufacturers for a single accord. We test each one — blind, on skin, across full dry-down cycles, in different temperatures and seasons. We compare them against the highest standard we know. We argue about them. We go back for more samples. We sit with them for weeks.
Most don't make it.
The one that earns its place — the one that doesn't just smell good but smells right, with the depth and longevity that a serious fragrance should have — that's the only one we blend. That's the only one we put our name on.
This is not the fastest way to build a brand. It is the only way we know how to build one we'd actually be proud of.
Why we named them after moments
We didn't name our fragrances after occasions. Not "evening wear." Not "office scent." Not "summer fresh."
We built them around something more specific — the feeling of an exact instant. The exhale after a long week. The warmth of a room you didn't want to leave. The ten seconds before everything begins.
Scent is the fastest route back to a feeling. Every fragrance in this collection was built to create that kind of specific, immediate recognition — not just to smell pleasant, but to land somewhere real.
A small collection — intentionally
We currently have seven fragrances. That is not a gap we're rushing to fill.
Every fragrance here has been through the full process — the sourcing, the blind testing, the weeks of evaluation. Adding a new fragrance means starting from scratch, and we won't shortcut it to have more products to show.
When something new appears here, it will have earned its place the same way everything here did. Not because we needed another SKU. Because we found something worth your attention.
What you can expect from us
On your order: Your order is dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery takes 4–7 business days pan-India. You receive a tracking link the moment your order ships.
On COD: Cash on delivery is available across India. Partial prepayment may be required based on the customer profile. Pay when your order arrives.
On quality: Every bottle is checked before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or with a defective atomiser — send us a photo within 12 hours and we will replace it. No questions, no return required.
On returns: Opened perfumes cannot be returned — this is standard across the fragrance industry, and we think it's the honest position. We've written every product description to tell you exactly what a fragrance smells like, how it evolves, and who it's not for — so you can make the right decision before you order, not after.
