Behind the Bottle
Fragrance is a moment you wear.
We didn't set out to make perfume. We set out to bottle the hour that's still yours — the one before the door opens, the one you walk in already decided. Every Momentier is built for an emotional state, not a note to show off: Grounded, Assured, Composed, Desired. Nine compositions, one philosophy.
Where the money actually goes.
Most fragrance on a counter is EDT or EDP — gone by afternoon in Indian heat. Every Momentier is an Extrait de Parfum at 30%+ oil, so one spray carries the full day. Then it rests: macerated, matured, IFRA-compliant, tuned for the climate it's worn in.
30%+ oil
The highest grade in perfumery. No EDT, no EDP.
Macerated & matured
Blends rest so the notes settle and wear smoother.
Formulated in-house
Built from a brief — then iterations, dry-downs and longevity trials until it holds.
Built for Indian weather
Engineered to last the Indian day.
Four tests, in order.
Most submissions don't clear all four.
- 01 In the oilHow the concentrate reads neat, before alcohol touches it.
- 02 In alcoholDoes the accord survive dilution, or rearrange into something we didn't brief?
- 03 On skinA full day, in the weather it will actually live in.
- 04 WeightStill pleasant at hour six? Anything that gives you a headache does not ship.
Everything smells like something.
Perfumery has a finite palette. What we promise is method. If the opening feels familiar, that's the material talking. If it's still there at hour ten, that's the work.
- We don't reverse-engineer other people's formulas.
- We don't claim to have smelled everything ever made.
- We don't sell perfume as costume.
- We don't make a scent that needs a second spray.
